I'm 16, 5'8, 135 pounds...I just want a good multi-vitamin with no side affects or weight loss chemicals or anything like that. Just pure vitamins for health. That's the only reason I'm taking it.

One a Day Women's formula. It has more calcium and iron since it's for women.

If you eat reasonably healthy, you don't need supplements. If you take too many water soluble ones, you'll pee out what your body doesn't need (that's why they're sometimes called "golden-rim" vits) and if you consume too many fat soluble ones, then the excess gets stored in your liver and you'll create health problems. Thing with iron is that you should have your blood levels checked. Not all women need iron. I, for example, have too much in my blood and wouldn't have known it if it hadn't been for a blood test. Careful with overdosing on minerals. My advice would be to get educated on Vits. Ask someone in the health and nutrition dept at a university, not the Vit store.

prenatal vitamins are the best vitamins for a female it is all vitamins wrapped up in one pill. gives you healty skin, strong nails, beautiful hair. and it helps give you energy that normally you wouldnt have. you can buy them at any local walmart, target etc... the good thing is you take it once a day, and a bottle can last forever.
