Hi, Yes I have 3 kids and I got my period everytime for about 4-5 months! I am 5'7" and and 125 pounds so I didn't even know I was pregnant the first time till my period stopped and then like 2 weeks later the baby started moving and I was in shock when I went to the doctor and told me how many months pregnant I was! And then with my second baby(girl),I knew by 2 months only because i actually had some pregnancy symptoms which I never had with my 2 boys, but the doctor said that was because females have different hormones! I hope this helps,if you have any other questions get back to me! Dawn

Yes, in fact my best friend had her period the whole nine months. Its rare but it can happen. A couple of my coworkers said that they had their periods for 5 months and the only way they knew they were pregnant was because they felt the baby move. So it is possible just depends on the woman.

The night I started my period, I got pregnant, I then had my period for the first 3 months. The Dr. said it is common for this to happen, (not to get pregnant on period, just to have it for a few months). Everything should be fine.

yes. it can happen. This is my standard answer, but it's true. Go to the store or library and get a book called " Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. This book made all the difference to me and my husband. It will guide you through all the myths and false information and even help you work through questions like the one you just asked. It will help you chart your month and figure out EXACTLY when you are fertile or not and no more myths or guessing. It's not just about getting pregnant. It's about taking control and knowing your body.
