Maturity. Worked for me. I one day woke up and asked myself:

WHAT'S the point of always being in a hurry? Why not LEAVE 15 minutes earlier? DUH.......

Life is SO much better now........

Simple, you must be able to differentiate between what is legal and what isn't. Most people get mad at something that is actually a legal move ie (someone cuts in front of you). These things are useless to get mad at. The only time you should get mad is when it is illegal.

Also, you must realize we live in a world where it's a me first mentality, whereas 50 years ago it was a 'you first' mentality. Knowing this, you should expect these type of actions. You can't change them but you can respond properly.

Remember that you make mistakes when driving, and don't assume that the other person made the mistake on purpose or does it all the time. Listen to classical music and give yourself enough time to get to your destination providing for traffic.

Try roll reversal.
If you were in the same scenario switch seats with the other then think about what you would have thought before reacting. It works.

well, i'm a christian, and once i finally understood the sovereignty of God and trusted Him that even though the idiot in front of me IS going 3 miles under the speed limit and i can't go around them, it's not going to mess up my entire life. it's nice to know i'm not in control of things.
