Actually yellow is only yellow in our brain. True yellow(?) is a particular wave length located in what is called The Visible Spectrum. Which is located between Ultra-Violet and Infra-Red.
In short our perception , through chemicals within our brains, is what gives any and all colors a particular descriptive code.

because yellow is the hardest primary color to indentify... studies have shown. blue is blue but there are too many shades of the color yellow to determine what is yellow yellow. also called true yellow.
