Yes, there were 15. Haven't you ever seen "History of the World Part One" Moses dropped one of the tablets.

There were hundreds of commandments that Jehovah gave to the Israelites...the 10 you speak of are only part of them. Start reading in Exodus ,chapter 20, and read through at least chapter 34. God had laws that covered every facet of the Israelites lives! Remember though, that when Jesus came and was baptised, he became the NEW law, the law of love as apposed to the law covenant he made with the nation of Israel. Jesus' two commandments can be found at Matthew 22:37-40.

The 10 commandments were the 10 Laws handed down to all of Israel during the Exodus. (He didn't give them to just Moses). BUT, there are 613 Total Traditional Laws (including the 10 Comm's) in the Old Test.

Yes, but that's a loaded answer
In hebrew we have Devrim and Mishpot
Devrim comes from the verb dovar...which means "to speak"
the ten 'commandments' were the rules that were spoken
there are 613 'other' rules known as mishpot which is where we get rules for how to dress, eat, etc
there are only 10 devrim, BUT there are also the golden rules that Jesus decreed (do unto others as you would have them do unto you) and (love the Lord your G-d with all your heart ,mind and soul

Yes
MATTHEW 22:36-40
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him,Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Never heard of more than 10; however, some have been altered in the translations over the years. For example, "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's slaves" was translated to "...neighbor's goods."
