If kids take after their parents, mostly physically, but alot of times charactorially also, such as creativity, and it almost seems that everything that people have created has somehow taken on the trait of creativity (ex. manufacturing plants, etc.), then where do we get it from? What makes man so creative? Rocks and electrically charge soup never purposely created anything [so says natural (or radom) selection] So where do we get it from?
P.S. If your answer involves the placement of an organ in the brain, or traits being passed from our ancestors, or something void like that please explain how it originated or how it was placed there.

Creativity is the only thing that makes us different on Earth - we're the only ones who can make up things that don't already exist.
It took milleniums (and millions of other non-human beings) for a life on this planet to evolve into a thing called human brain. And as soon our brain started to work, it asked "How was I created?". And since it didn't have an answer, but it had plenty of creativity, it created God - not to feel so scared and alone.

God made man different from the other living things on earth by giving him the ability to think
We can think and make choices for ourselves
This also includes creativity
Can a cat paint a Masterpiece?[animal]
no, Pablo Piccasso can[human]
God gave us creativity, the ability to chose
thus:
Adam and Eve had the choice of taking from the tree of life of not
and they did [but that was the devil's fault]
Having thought is what makes humans the upper hand on everything, all the creativity is from God but how we use it is either for God or Satan

On the six day God created a man out of the dust of the earth. He made man in the His likeness. Genesis 1: 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. But when Adam sinned against God, Adam no longer had the likeness of God. When Adam and Eve had children they were in the likeness of Adam. Genesis 5: 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: The sin nature of Adam has passed to all people because all have sinned. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Imagination/creativity is from God.
The idea that we are separate from everything else is an illusion of a conditional temporary reality.
FREE WILL gives us the opportunity to think/believe whatever we choose too.... God is God no matter what. (Even if you use a different word to describe "God".)
Time is an illusion. Life IS.

it comes from your brain. we don't really know where.
the brain is very complex, and even though we can map it with some certainty, like the bronsted area, or that the frontal lobe deals with what freud called the superego, we know diddly squat.
creativity is one of those things. so my answer is, from a scientific perspective, we think that it has to do with our preferences and memory systems, but that's only a hypothesis. according to one of my profs anyway. you'd have to wait for further research.
