lol I think you should go with mushroom head and just bake chocolate cake for supper! Actually I think you should make fettucine alfredo and breshetta. It isn't hard to make at all melt butter in a nonstick pan. srinkle about 3tbsp flour through it . add milk and stir to get smooth. Let cook until it start to get thicker and add parmesian cheese. It has to be a block of parm you have grated yourself. You can't put the canned grated in because the presevatives keep it from melting proprly. For the brescetta slice french or italian bread and toast in the oven de-seed a tomato amd cut into chunks. Add olive oil (just a small amount about half tbsp.) and stir in fresh basil. put the breschetta on the taosted bread or in the fettucine. Oh and just boil the fettucine like you would spaghetti, drain and add alfredo. I also like to *** grilled chicken and broccoli to the fettucine

Orange Glazed Scallops

Orange Glaze

Ingredients:

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 stick cinnamon
3 each star anise
1 tsp. whole coriander
1 cup OJ
1 tbsp. Cornstarch
1 tbsp. water

Procedure:

Melt sugar in a heavy bottom pot with cinnamon, star anise and coriander. Be sure to stir with a metal spoon, as it will burn if you don’t. When thoroughly melted, add OJ. Be careful, as it will splatter.

With spoon, scrape the sugar from the bottom of pot. Let simmer until all sugar is melted. Combine cornstarch and water. Add a little at a time to sauce until it thickens. You may not need all of the slurry. Strain. When thickened, set aside.

We're having endives au jambon. Here's the recipe:

4 medium Belgian endives
4 slices ham (each large enough to wrap around an endive)

for sauce:
3 Tablespoons butter
3 Tablespoons self-rising flour
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 dash ground cayenne
freshly grated nutmeg
black pepper to taste
2 cups milk

topping:
6 ounces grated Emmental cheese

Wash the endives and remove any damaged outer leaves. Steam endives around 15 minutes. (**Be careful not to overcook, as they'll be cooked further in the oven!**) Cut the base of the stem from each one and wrap endive in a slice of ham, securing it with a toothpick. Arrange in a square glass baking dish. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350°F or 190°C. Mix seasonings into flour in a small bowl before you begin the sauce. Heat milk for 1 1/2 minutes in microwave. On low heat, melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in flour mix with a whisk, being careful to keep it smooth - no lumps! Add warm milk slowly, stirring with whisk as you go. (If you can't avoid the lumps, press the mixture through a strainer and then stir out any remaining lumps.) Stir over medium to medium-high heat until sauce thickens. Pour over ham-wrapped endives, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake until cheese is golden brown, approximately 45 minutes.

Here we go: get some boneless chicken breasts, brown them in a little olive oil, cut them into large chunks.

Casserole dish. Mix in chicken, a can of cream of mushroom soup, a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and a drained can of green beans or peas or corn (or all three!). Top the casserole with crispy onion toppers. Bake for a while at 325, until everything bubbles.

Serve with a green tossed salad.

Yum.

I have a pork shoulder roast in the crock pot. With the help of "McCormick Slowcookers" seasoning, We're going to have pull apart BBQ pork sandwiches. Maybe I'll add corn on the cob. The cool thing is, dinner is done and it's only 8:15 a.m.!

Taco soup! In the crock pot:

3 cans of beans (your choice but I like 2 kidney and 1 garbonzo)
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 packet of ranch dressing mix (dry)
1 can of corn
2 small or 1 large can(s) of tomatoes (diced)
1 can of tomato paste
1 - 1.25 lbs of ground beef or turkey browned and drained

mix all in crock pot and cook on low all day. Yummy served with tortillas or tortilla chips and it is recommended by weight watchers and a low cal dinner! It is SOOOO good!!
