Why are you using an excuse of anyone bringing you down? The only person who can bring you down is yourself, and so what if other people are 'trying' to bring you down, you have the ultimate control of the choices you make in your life. If things aren't going the way you want them to, then you have the power to make the change, or you can just leave things the way they are and keep making excuses and blaming others for the things that go wrong in your life.

Well that's an awfully BROAD generalization. What if I had asked the same question about Mexican people, or Asian people, etc. I think that's a very racist question. It reveals a very bad attitude in you, not everyone in your race. It's not true, and it's not fair. I'm a "white" person, and I never try to bring ANYBODY down. Unless you're just an idiot, then I'll stomp all over you. But it certainly wouldn't be about race!

They aren't. They are trying to lift us up.
Bill Cosby has it right. When we name our children African names like Sequeesha and Kohliel and Tyrone, we are telling white people that we don't like the white rules.
When we talk trash, we get treated like trash. Rap poetry may or may not be functionally literate, but it doesn't convince whitey that we know how to speak English. Ebonics is neither a political party or a religion.
We bring ourselves down when we drive by shoot our neighbor's kids because they are in the wrong gang territory.
We bring ourselves down when we go on the Maury Povich show and play "Who's Your Daddy." Do you realize how racist that show is?
We do it to ourselves.
Change your name to Paul and see how fast things start looking up for you.

Which white people bringing who down?
You'd have more success in life if you stopped worrying about some imaginary bogeyman and just worked on making good decisions.
Good decisions - Education, Diligence and initiative at work, don't have children out of wedlock, say no to crime.
There is plenty of opportunity, but opportunity requires hard work to become success.

Why are you so racist? What kind of question is that? I'm white and I'm not trying to bring anyone down. Why would you clump everyone into one group? There are good humans and there are bad racist ones. Grow up, And realize that your attitude isn't helping the human race at all.

Why are you constantly looking around you to place blame for your situation? Only YOU can bring YOURSELF down. Take some personal responsibility and stop making everything a race issue.

Hey man, Dave Chappele answered this question like this.
"Why is it Black people complaints too much? Why is it Mexicans are disgruntled? Why is White people are too lazy and Why is it that Asians are considered to be smarter than every one else?
Aren't we all have better things to do than think about stupid sh@# like this?"
