keep reminding him that he made you, that should make him feel badly enough!

There's obviously a reason why your dad wants to cut your hair. Is it because it's too long and not kept looking nice?
I know of several stylish short hair cuts that look really good on guys. You never know, you just may like the way it looks after its cut and thereby your father will be doing you a favor.
You won't hear me say "you shouldn't do that" but I will say this: it's in the bible under the 10 commandments that you should honor your mother and father.
Look dude, it's just hair and it grows back, right? So you have to get a hair cut, deal with it. Besides, it's summer time....think of how cool your head will feel!

What are you, like 12?? I mean seriously, hair takes just a few weeks to grow back. Even if you shave your head completely bald all you have to do is wait MAYBE a week and you'll have stubbles. Grow up and look at the bigger picture; there are far more important things to worry about rather than making your dad feel bad for cutting your hair.
YOU make me sick, not the people who say you shouldn't do that.

you shouldn't purposely try to make your dad feel horrible just because he's going to cut your hair!! Hair will grow back but the relationship with your father is a fragile thing. Talk to him about the haircut that you'd like. Maybe you can compromise. Go to Ultracuts or something. Cherish the time with your dad while you can. I didn't and I haven't spoken to my father in years. I miss him. Enjoy every moment with him while you can and don't let something as simple as a haircut come between you!
Best of luck.

Be sure he already knows how you feel. There is nothing you can do to make him feel horrible. It is the parents job to do what they think is best for the kid even if the kid doesn't like it and hates the parent. My brothers had to have their hair cut and they hated it. We are all grown now and laugh about it. So just get it over with.

Go get it cut yourself, and then he won't have been the one to make the decision after all. If you get it cut, then you will be the one in charge of it, and that will take his power away. That will really make him mad.

Sreammmmm.......loud....... RAPE! RAPE! RAPE!
You know why you should call "RAPE" ?
Because *hair* to anyone, is very personal and private. Cutting it without the permission of the person, is actually trespassing and invading one's territory. You should defend to the end. Let him know he is a barbarian to do this inconsiderate act. He is not respecting you by not asking your permission beforehand.
