Bless your heart, my friend, I don't know why your mother got cancer. I didn't know her. Maybe it was her lifestyle, maybe it was exposure to a carcinogen, maybe it was just rotten luck and unfortunate genes. I am truly sorry it happened. We can't cure cancer yet but if it's caught in time we can kill it or remove it. I'm a nurse and I've dedicated my life to dealing with disease, the living and the dying. Perhaps you'll want to dedicate your life to finding a real cure for cancer. That would be worthwhile.

Most likely it is a genetic predisposition in your family genes. Meaning that if your family history has cancer in it the chances are great that you will get some form of it too.
So avoid ANYTHING that may be known to cause cancer.
Why can't we cure it. Because it is a very fast growing DNA mutated cell that no longer functions as it should. Trying to isolate the one type of cell from that specific DNA pattern is not possible at todays level of technology.
Perhaps in the future they will be able to turn off that particular gene and no one will get cancer any more...

First off let me say I am so sorry for your loss. I have no way to know your personal beliefs so this is coming strait from mine and what I believe. I am a Christian and strongly believes that God guides the world. Now that is not to say that he CAUSED your mother's illness but that he has put the ability for every illness to be cured in our minds and on the earth. He also gave us free will and I believe that one day soon we will find that cure. As for why did your mother get it that is a question that I believe can not be answered though many have tried for many years. Many things can increase the risk for cancer over exposure to sunlight or smoking are two im sure you know about. It is my belief that it is no ones fault if they get sick. They weren't "just asking for it" and they still didn't deserve it. Take my father for instance, has smoked since about the age of 14 and three years ago had a heart attack. Since then he has had a total of 6 stints (a straw like piece of plastic that keeps the arteries open) put in (the last of which was just last week). Still it was very difficult for him to stop smoking. He is an example of someone whose actions helped to cause is illness but i still can't explain why he has to have the heart problems when others don't who are equally as bad to their hearts. There are somethings in this world that just can't be explained, but with the faith I have in God I know that this world is only temporary and that if we believe in him we are headed to a much better place where illnesses, even cancer, can't get to us. but have you ever heard about macrobiotic food there's fact that cancer comes from bad eating behavior and the way ppl live thier life i am from thailand and here there's group of ppl call ' cheewachit' the way they do is similar to macrobiotic (eat nut , vegetable,dont eat meat ,live along nature,meditation) it's true that some ppl who got cancer can get recover and be heathy again after they join in this group even a gal who almost die becoz of chemo that 's amazing
this is another choice for you ,i think there should be something like this in your country try searching something like macrobiotic and contact them

I'm sorry you're going through this, life can be really hard and unfair. I hope that your mom is doing ok, and you can spend time with her, which I'm sure will make her feel better. Try to find support groups for families dealing with someone who has cancer, you can probably find them at the hospital. It really sucks that bad things happen to good people...I hope that you're doing ok.

there probably is a cure and the people in power want to control the population somehow. Sad but might be true.

your mom got Cancer because it is just the way of life. you cant cure it because it might be too dangerous. i know how it feels.....my last grandpa had canser and it was really dangerous to fix, but he desided to try and fix it and he is still trying to overcome it.......he now lives in Hawaii and is still trying to recover when he got skin canser........i hope that your moms canser will not overcome her and that she will overcome it.
