My daughter is full of energy (although she is not having much food now a days and that's another problem), and I don't know how to utilise it properly. She has a few Nursery Books and a few Toys to play with, but she wants something new to do or explore and all she gets to do is household chores and she actually disturbs her mother's work. How can we keep her busy so that she doesn't disturbs others and through tantrums when asked not to disturb and mess around ?

She has yet to begin speaking properly. Besides, she also have a cousin sister (6 months younger).

I have a 2 year old son, And he is the same way...Even though he has A bedroom full of toys, it sometimes isn't enough to calm him down...Children love helping their parents, especially helping around the house. They get to spend time with their parents, and they feel like they are actually helping. Children love praise, And even if they are doing nothing more then making more of a mess, They feel like they have accomplished something...Other then that, Try taking your child out more, get into a baby group with other children, or go to the park....

I think this is really hard to answer. Because I can`t think about a thing that will make a 2 year old girl busy. It`s so normal that she is full of energy. I think all the children in that age are same as her. Play with her when you have time and take her to a park or somewhere like that when you are free. I think she`ll be bit quite when she`s about 4 or 5. I think you have to be upset if she does`t full of energy. Have a nice time with your daughter!

That's what 2 year olds do. They need to explore. What do you want her to do, sit and stare at the wall?

WIth only a few books and toys, they get bored very easily. Whoever is with the child during the day should be doing things with her to stimulate her. How about having her help with chores? Buy her a toddler sized housekeeping set so she can "clean" too. Take her outside to play!

You sound like you do nothing with this child.

Your expecting your daughter not to be a 2 year old!!! This is what kids do. Take her to the park and roll around in the grass with her. She needs you and more attention. Could you imagine a 2 year old who just sit around and acted like an adult that would be strange. Try and have fun with your healthy beautiful daughter it sounds like you have a lot to be thankful for.

My 2 year old daughter LOVES to draw and color. She draws stick figure people complete with eyes, shoes and hair. She loves drawing hearts and circles too. It keeps her busy for hours. Buy your daughter a notebook, and a box of crayons. Show her a few things to draw and let her go. The crayon marks on the walls comes out easy with the magic eraser so don't worry.

well children go through stages of not eating and temper tantrums and wanting to be stuck up your butt all the time. trust me i know i have three. you can give her pots and pans to play with. my daughter loves phones she'll play with them for hours. she also likes to play with bottles and tops and try to put the top back onto the bottle. toddlers seem to like playing with the cheap stuff then the expensive toys that we buy try it out and see how that works.
GOOD LUCK!!!
