I don't know, but being from Montreal I would have to say I'm more surprised by the answers than by your question. I assume you mean the best restaurant in the Gay Village and/or frequented by gays.
You might get a real answer in the Travel-Montreal section. Answerers there tend to be from or at least familiar with Montreal. (I'm assuming you are too, but in case not, the Gay Village is in and around the corner of Ste. Catherine and St. Hubert, east (Montreal "east") of downtown.)

I'm not sure if you are serious about this question, but in view of the additional questions about certain genres of Montreal restaurants, I would suggest a travel guide for that city, use of the internet, or a personal visit so you can come back and let us know. I doubt if there is such a restaurant. In view of how people feel and are so blatant about expressing their feelings, I doubt if one would advertise "openly" something such as this. Not everyone is loving and kind and that opened door might just create some hostility. Good luck.
