Well if you want to lose weight, I suggest that you should drink lots and lots of water and green leafy vegetables of your choice this will make you feel full and will help you to drop appetite and inturn, you'll not only lose weight but also your complexion and your skin would be benifited a lot. I also recommend yoga, aerobics or any light exercise you're comfortable with.

You are on the right track already. Raw fruit and veggies are an awesome start. Have you thought of making your own pure fruit juices. It's quite a lot of fun actually. If you have a blender, throw in different fruit and veggies and experiment until you find several that you really like. Note... when making veggie drinks, apples are a wonderful sweetener.
As for a mantra, try om shantee, shantee, shantee. This means peace. Quieting your soul in times of conflict, stress or when feeling overwhelmed is the best way to go.

Well, one thing to do is eat things high in fiber, they keep you full longer and you tend to eat less of it. I like to snack on Tuna on Triscuits, carrots w/ ranch dressing (or broccoli, which has more fiber) Jello is also a tasty empty calorie snack, yogurt, nuts (high in protein for energy) fruit is always good, Rice is nice and filling too. The key is variety. Also try to snack a little throughout the day so that by lunchtime your not hungry and you can go for a walk on your break instead of sitting around smelling their food and being tempted. It's hard to manage your weight after you turn 30 since your metabolism starts to slow down. Good Luck, and keep up the good work!! Also, if your not already, you should start taking calcium supplements now to help prevent osteoporosis.

I think as long as you cut up fruit and veggies and constantly keep your mouth preoccupied, you will have a better chance at resisting. I would always do peanut butter with lots of celery. The peanut butter is sweet...so you're kind of fooling yourself. AND, I would always have a picture of skinny me and fat me...that way I know how good AND how bad things can get ! If you haven't, try Weight Watchers...I lost 20lbs and my good friend lost 50...its great to have to be accountable and have the support

You have to be disciplined and determined. It is easy to lose focus especially with all the temptation around you. When the temptation arises just remember why you are doing this. Think of yourself, your health and your children (if you have any). Think of the feeling you get when you step on the scale and see the results you want.
