I also recommend yoga, aerobics or any light exercise you're comfortable with.

Your calorie intake needs to be no lower than 1200 a day. I'm not seeing 1200 calories in that list. Get it up or you are guaranteed to regain any weight you lose. Back off the exercise to 1 - 2 hrs a day. What you've listed is overkill. You're planning on working out 4 - 5 hrs a day. That's ridiculous unless you are training for some kind of competition. You should not attempt to lose more than 3 lbs/wk (or you'll most likely gain it right back) and you can do that by eating healthy and working out 1 - 2 hrs a day, at least 5 days a week. You're not consuming enough calories to fuel your body for the amount of activity you have listed...you'll never make it.

I lost 45 pounds 2 years ago and have kept it off. I used the "Body for Life" plan. Buy Bill Phillip's book and follow the program. It is all about changing your lifestyle. I used only be able to run about 100 yds without getting out of breath. Two years later, and I am doing my 3rd Triathlon. I still have a ways to go with my weight, but I feel much better.
If you have to lose weight quick for a surgery, you can always to the cabbage soup diet. It takes weight off quick, but it is not a lifestyle change, so the weight will eventually come back.

We all know what foods are good for us and what foods are bad. The hard part is actually eating the good foods and then the next step is lots of exercise. Try some exercises that don't seem like work. Instead of just walking, go to the local zoo and look around there. Before you know it you have walk a mile or more. Don't just walk the dog but take him to a park and play with him the time will fly by. One of the best exercises is also one of my favorite things to do and that is swimming. All you have to do is get out and get going. Remember couch potato's are twice as likely to get Alzheimers. Live long and prosper.

I lost 70 pounds and have kept it off for over 5 years doing this:
Eating whatever I want but making sure I eat mostly vegitables, grains and fruit. Only eating enough at a time to barely feel satisfied, never full. Walking briskly for at least 45 minutes every day and doing push ups, pull ups, sit ups and stretching afterwards. It completely works. It's simple, but not always easy. Once you get in the habit, it's something you can stick with for life.

i would suggest vegitarian as most of america and the world have become carniverous the weight problem has persisted the fact is it is not the meat doing so but an over indulgence of it these things lead to clogged arteries obesity shortness of breath exhaustion and lethargy should you go vegitarian it would reduce you back to a healthy weight and keep you there in no time however if you believe this is not possible for you then a reduction of the protien intake is needed you should consult a physician on this matter and dicuss weight loss as a result of dietary habbits

Drink plenty of water and excercise.
You exercise and eat healthy.
Working in your back yard is great exercise. Even walking around the block. Does not have to be a gym with their equipment.
Remember no magic pills...just walk atleast an hour a day and make sure you burn more calories then your intake

Weight Watchers. It teaches you how to reframe how you look at food. It's not just a fad diet, either. You will keep it off forever. It incorporates the two essentials to losing weight and keeping it off: diet and exercise.
