Professional Golfers Association
They use to be the same thing but split in the 70's
The PGA for club pro's has control over the Ryder Cup and The Major Golf Tournament The PGA Championship .
The PGA for club pro's requires several years of schools and testing to become a member

PGA stands for Professional Glofers Association.
If you are playing on a PGA tour then you are a good golfer.
And will be earning a lot of money soon.
It is the official golf governing body.
Responsible for rankings and tournaments etc.
