My sister in law makes hers in a crock pot~
1 lb ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce (approx. 26 oz)
12 oz container ricotta cheese
1/2 grated parmesan cheese
1 egg
12 oz lasagna noodles (no need to cook!)
12 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (reserve 1/2 cup)
Directions:
Brown meat and onion in skillet. Drain off fat. Add jar of spaghetti sauce and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes (if the sauce is too thick, you may want to add about a 1/2 cup of water to thin it). In a separate bowl, combine all the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese (except reserved 1/2 cup) and the egg. Mix thoroughly. Spoon a layer of meat sauce onto the bottom of crock cooker. Add *two* layers of uncooked lasagna noodles (broken into small pieces to make them fit) and then top with cheese mixture. Repeat with sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture until all are used. Sprinkle reserved 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella on very top. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for approximately 3 hours.

Speedy Lasagna
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
32 ounces cottage cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons dried parsley
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
9 lasagna noodles
1/2 cup water
DIRECTIONS:
In a large skillet over medium heat brown the ground beef. Drain the grease. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, eggs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, salt and ground black pepper.
To assemble, in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish evenly spread 3/4 cup of the sauce mixture. Cover with 3 uncooked lasagna noodles, 1 3/4 cup of the cheese mixture, and 1/4 cup sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with 3 noodles, remaining sauce, remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Add 1/2 water to the edges of the pan. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree F(175 degrees C) oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

My "lazy lasagna" recipe goes -- In a Dutch Oven or very large pot, bring to boil at least two quarts or so of water, a couple inches below the top of the pan. Finely chop or mince one small onion. Finely chop one clove of garlic. Drain one small can of mushrooms. By now the water should be boiling. Carefully pour in one entire bag of bow-tie noodles or another type of large, thick noodle. Start browning one crumbled pound of ground beef with the onion and garlic mixed into the meat in maybe a tablespoon of olive oil in a 10" or larger frying pan. If things are timed right, the meat and noodles will be done at about the same time. Drain the pasta in a strainer. In the Dutch Oven pour one large jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce, the mushrooms, and the seasoned meat, bring to a slow simmer. I prefer to add about a teaspoon of Italian seasoning at this point, you can add other spices. Taste the sauce and adjust if needed. Gently add the pasta into the sauce, mix evenly. Now you can add grated mozzarella if you choose or other cheeses, mixing only a little bit, the cheese will disappear into it if you over mix. You can pour this to a baking dish if you like and broil under high for a few minutes for that lasagna crust most of us like but I tend to serve it straight out of the Dutch Oven with some crusty garlic bread and a crisp salad.
One cutting board, one knife, one pot, one frying pan, one strainer, and two mixing spoons, talk about easy cleanup after "lasagna"! It refrigerates well and reheats nicely if you keep it covered in the microwave so the noodles don't dry out.

Ricotta cheese is usually used in lasagna...some people prefer cottage cheese, but I prefer ricotta. Don't forget to add some garlic and mozzerella cheese.
