Why is that when the bad guy shoots at Superman he sticks out his chest and lets the bullets bounce off his chest, but when the bad guy throws the gun; Superman ducks?

Because superman is a pussi*e and doesn't want to get hit in the face. It may ruin his looks

Why doesn't anyone try shooting superman in the face? If they did, would he stick his face out instead of his chest? Maybe he sticks his chest out because he likes the feel of bullets off his chest. Best bet is to ask Superman himself

Superman has such powers that if the enemy doesn't know what
other powers he has then ducking for the gun hides what might happen to the gun if it hits him.
(and possibly break into lots of pieces).

Because he knows it's only a cartoon/film and the bullets are just cardboard. The gun , on the other hand , is metal and would hurt.

Because it's hard to make a gun hitting you in the face look painless even if it doesn't hurt it still looks bad
