You are restricting that just to Christians? I find many people "representing" different views doing the same.
Although I am no big fan of Christianity you are asking a biased question

hi =) 1/2 of the time, certain.... And the different 1/2, the Christians are attacking different faiths, spewing venom with an similar mouth that they praise God with... Which St. James spoke out adversarial to extremely strongly. i'm a Buddhist, and that i argue on both aspect of the argument, for the point of attempting to remind people at the same time as they're being disrespectful of others beliefs. you're borderline, because you're stating some thing which isn't real. people do no longer attack Christians because they're Christians the following. They attack all people who's slender-minded, and insulting. That, regrettably, regularly takes position to be the Christians. Namaste, and satisfied New three hundred and sixty 5 days, --Tom

That's a gross generalization. I don't think most Christians attack other people, just as I don't think most agnostics or athiests do.
First of all, Yahoo! Answers is not a representative cross-sample of the societies of the world, so you can't make that generalization.
Second of all, there are a fistful of *ssholes in any belief system. Some are just more vocal than others.
Thirdly, a number of people here are just out for the points, and a quick "zing" is much easier than putting a lot of thought into an answer.
The real question is, if they bother you, why do you read them?

I've only been on yahoo answers about 5minutes but I've already seen that the attacks go both ways. A true Christian should not be attacking other people. We should instead be sharing the truth that God has given us. We should so shine our lights before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven. if we act just like the unsaved what kind of testimony are we?

as if we dont get attacked as well? I posted something simply clarifying something about the bible and they REPORTED it, I wasnt insulting anyone nor "attacking" any other religion..They eliminated it because they probably saw it made sense and are too stubborn to accept it. But if you were "attacked" by a "Christian" then that doesnt mean we are all the same, so dont generalize it. Everyone defends their point of view or their beliefs if the other is mocking it, if you don't, GREAT. But don't say it's only Christians

It's no different than some of the jerks I've seen get on her asking questions and making statements about God and Christianity in general that are politically and morally incorrect; they ask these moribund, ignorant questions that are intended only to cause trouble and stir up dissention and make us all look like fools. That's why i see so many of them attacking. personally, I'd rather quote Scripture where applicable and let the reader decide for themselves, but that's they way it goes when emotions cloud judgment.

You stereotype. The question should ask; "Why do many people on Yahoo Answers attack other people"?
It just how people are, Egos, Pride, Selfishness etc.
They want everyone to look the same, talk the same, dress the same etc.
I call it a Dictator-Socialism. And, it may be that way one day. Seems that many Schools want children to all dress the same already.

Your opinion is that christians attack people, but christians help a lot of people through tough situations. When hurrincane Katrina hit it was christians that came to thier need. No one looks at the positive things christians do because they are too busy trying to judge christians, but yet eveyone says its christians that attack people. I see people that are not christians attacking people everyday by killing, stealing, etc. Not only with thier mouth, but with violence. People have the wrong impressions about christains. It seems like you are making assumptions.

honestly as far as I feel, if that happens its not intentional, if you just take a proper look at the questions directed at christians, you can see that more than 60% of the questions are just made to mock christians, and many people also pose as christians and try to mock other people, thereby making fun of us, so either when you feel a christian is mocking, it could be mostly because they feel downtordden and they don't like to be made fun off, or they are not real christians, but just people out to make fun, and I have to say that even if a christian is downtrodden it is not his lot ideally to strike back. There are christians who do not realise that, and well, for people who feel mocked, I apologise oh behalf of my brothers and well, I hope that if you have any sincere questions they will not be mocked..

it's a turf battle with the pagans for the religion section, don't worry they get in it with the muslims and the athiests too. I think the christians and the muslims are coming together a little bit. Don't hear much from any buddhists or jews though. I'm just trying to stay out of there but i always get dragged back in.
