Home made chicken pot pie. We made chicken and dumplings the other day and I have left over ghigken that has been cooked with cerlry and onions. I am going to add cream of chicken soup and mixed vegs and put it in a baking dish and cover it with biscuts (you can also use corn bread) and bake it till the biscuts/corn bread is done. Since the chicken is already cooked it dose not take long and only dirty's a bowl to mix it in and the baking dish...And yes I am another guy, but I do 99% of all the cooking at my house

I am not sure as it is my b/f turn to buy the dinner tonight. If it was my turn I would go for sausages, baked in the oven with onions and peppers so that they are a bit roasted, then near the end of the cooking time I would add some gravy and braise all that off in the oven. Serve with creamy mash potato and peas. Oh I hope he makes me that for dinner!!!!

I am making steak with sauteed mushrooms and onions, potato's (not sure how I am preparing them yet) and broccoli w/cheese. I will probably make cornbread to go with it.
If the steaks are not thawed by the time I am ready to cook, then I am making Beefy Rice Casserole. It is Beef Rice-a-roni, hamburger, a dash of worschestershire sauce, and corn. It is actually really good.

My version of S.O.S. Mix shredded hash browns with cooked ground beef, chopped onions, a can of cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheese and a few shakes of red pepper flakes. Bake at 350 until bubbly. Yum Yum especially on a rainy evening like we are going to have tonight.

I have to go right from work to the theater for a performance, so I will most likely be grabbing something from a local fast food joint - I've been craving a chalupa from Taco Bell. Sorry, it's not very original but it is convienent.

A TACO BAKE....
it is taco meat mixed with a little cheese that is layered on top of soft shell tortillas with extra cheese on top..... it is really easy all you have to do is cook the meat with taco seasoning and a little cheese sauce then layer it in a pie pan then bake at 450 until warm all the way through..

I am going to try to duplicate a wonderful salad I had at Bob Evans the other day. Mixed greens, dried cranberries, (I will use cried cherries), walnuts, feta cheese, chic en pieces and a raspberry, vinaigrette dressing. It was sooo good,.
