No matter what age it is good to worship God. He tells us to come to him as little children. So even at an older age He wants us to be as a child.

At a younger age, I was not a priest...but now I am in direct service to God in all i do, as I am priest & bishop. As St. Paul says:

"When I was a child, I used to act like a child, think like a child, talk like a child, but now that I am an adult, I have put all childish things behind me". (1 Cor 13)

They are both equal, at a young age you have a strong imagination so it is easy to talk to God, because you believe in him with all your heart. At an old age you have already gone past the hardest trials in your life so it is easy to just say, I'm tired, please take my life Lord and let it be thine.

Older age, when I was younger I didn't appreciate his many blessings or even recognize them, I do now!

We know God through our lifetime and our ideas of our relationship can change with time (just as human relationships change over time). Is one really 'better' than the other? Or is it just a learning, growing, changing part of our world?

Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
