Usually you can setup a payment plan. My buddy did it in PA. He paid like $15/month for a huge amount of fines he accumulated.

Go to court or you Will be served with a warrant for your arrest. Explain to the judge that you, for whatever reason, cannot pay any or all of the fine right now only after you have asked if you can get the whole thing deferred by simply taking a dfensive drivers class (some sixteen states currently do that) which will greatly reduce your fine & eliminate the mark on your driving record. Lemme know how it turns out for ya & Good Luck!!

Do without beer or some other non-essential thing for a while and pay the ticket. You chose to speed, and got caught. Now pay the piper.

All speeding tickets come with an alternative. Usually it is a driving suspension or a number of days in the local "lockup".
Some judges do offer "time-to-pay" however.

The best advice however is...SLOW DOWN!

Go to court and make your plea. Then if you plea guilty to it, normally the judge will assess your fine. Afterwards you can make payment arrangements with the court clerk. Don't sweat it, there's lots of people that don't have that cash in hand on the court date!

Usually when you tell the judge or (whomever hears your case) that you cant afford to pay your ticket they will try to work something out usually they lower your ticket to something that you should be able to afford.

Ask the judge if you can do community service to pay for your fine. since you have no money to pay the fine this can be done in almost every state, Good Luck

Borrow the money, pay your fine, and slow down. Speed kills and you can't tell me that you want to die just to save a few minutes. Be safe. My kids will be driving soon.

Go to court, plead guilty if you were guilty, and make payment arrangements.

Actually, if you write them a good letter and explain the situation sincerely, I know of people who have had their fines dropped...
