responsible and truely(true to whom?) faithful married man is holier,if go thru the history of saints and sages even after christ u will find who attained enlightenment belongs to the above category, where as even as on today, there is no such example of really true catholic or roman preist who has achieved self realization, the ultimate goal.

Why deprive a Man whether a priest or a commoner of his basic necessities of life? Why cant a priest marry and have a family like anyone else? This happens when rules are made by man and one strays away from the rules made by 'The Creator'
Here a man who is married and is loyal is more holier, because he is actually involved in safeguarding his chastity by being true to his body and his wife. While the priest has no wife so for whom is he chaste?
In Islam, there is no sanity. All men are equal in front of GOD. Whether priest or not, everyone must follow the principles of Human nature. And then show piety or GOD consiousness in that.

God's first instruction was go forth, be fruitful, and multiply. There is no higher holyness than a man (loyal and responsible) that takes care of a family. The priest can serve a larger family but a world full of celibate prieste results in the end of mankind. A world full of loyal responsible men results in the goal God had in mind for the human race from the beginning. Hence God's first instruction gives us the meaning of life.

A loyal married man. The "celibate" priest is probably having sex with the altar boy.

God doesn't let us into Heaven, nor call us to serve Him, based on our holiness as compared to others, but based on the grace which He has bestowed on us--if we repent of our sins.
Paul called himself the chief of sinners (1 Timothy 1:15) and yet God gave him grace to plant and establish many churches and to write most of the New Testament (Romans 12:3; 15:15-16; 1 Corinthians 15:9-10; 2 Corinthians 1:12; Galatians 1:15-16; 2:9; Ephesians 3:1-9; 4:7; etc.).
The real question is have either one of those men repented of tehir rebellion against God and submitted to His grace through His only begotten Son? Only those who do that are declared righteous in the sight of God and granted entrance to Heaven.

If both men are living out their Christian vocations to the best of their ability, living chastely, striving for personal holiness, and leading others to Christ...then they are probably equally holy in the eyes of God.
Great thing about Cathiolicism....we believe that regardless of your Christian vocation ( married, single, religious), everyone is called to holiness...everyone is called to sainthood....

Neither one is holier, if you are living a christian life and believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and Saviour of your life, then we are all the same with God, there are no big I's and little You.
We are all treated equally with God.

Our ways determine our holiness. We are made holy by fullfilling what God has put for us to do and that is our "Vocation." Sometimes we are created to heal, sometimes to instruct, and sometimes bound by vows to remain unmarried. We can be priests and be holy but we can also be a carpenter and yet still be holy!
