Go to a drag show down on Oak Lawn in Dallas. I know that sounds weird, but that is what one of my friends did years ago and it was the best bachelorette party I have ever gone to! I have since heard of quite a few ladies doing that instead of having a stripper or going to a yucky strip club.

I heard that a really cute thing to do is to get your girlfriends together and have a high tea. A spa day would be really fun too and so relaxing for the bride who I am sure will be pretty stressed out by then. A slightly cheaper form of spa day would be to have manicures and pedicures together at a local salon.

i had a blast at my bachelorette party and it didn't even involve strippers.

my mom, sister, girl cousins, aunt, four of my best friends and we went to dinner and then went to my aunts house and played games.

but the kicker is what i had to do at the restaurant that made it fun. one of her bridemaids could do this..

each time i mentioned my husbands name, or his lil girl or even anything that related to them, i had to do the chicken dance around the restaurant. if they dinged the glass i had to get up on my chair and yell out something about my wedding; ie i am getting married on such and such date and time and where it was going to be. then when we were all walking out of the restaurant, i had to do the chicken dance and yell out something about my wedding. ;) it was a blast... ;)

good luck and congrats to her and the groom

For mine I went to a local comedy club. I thought I was going to have a heart attack when my maid of honor pulled out a gift for me mid-show...we were sitting in the very front and she hands me a "Bucket-o-Kink" full of whips, masks and lotions, etc... Fortunately, I was able to hide it under the table before the comedian saw it.

If you're not into the whole club scene, a day (or night) at Six Flags or Wet n Wild would be fun!
