I think this is a great question because it makes you think (or, it should make you think) Energy cannot be created or destroyed, so if you assume that God is the Light of the Universe, he is indeed eternal. God used his Energy to create all of us, so we are all part of God and when we die our energy returns to Him and we are accepted back (Heaven) or rejected and sent back to Earth (Hell) to try again. Since we all have a part of God within us, you could conclude that he "dies" with us and is strengthened by the return of our energy (goes to Heaven) or weakened by each soul that must be returned to Earth (goes to Hell) My summary: God has one foot in Heaven and one foot in Hell and it is the souls of Mankind that will determine if God will shine bright in Heaven or dwindle in the darkness of this Hell on Earth.
May I now please hear an "Amen".

Jesus claimed to be God. (This was the reason the religious leaders wanted Him to be crucified)

He was crucified

He rose on the 3rd day

He ascended into heaven.

Therefore, the answer to your questionn is "Yes. If God died he would go to heaven."

Now, the next question is where will you go when you die?

God is the creater of heaven,so let me explain something to you
if there is a father who told his sons that whoever will get A good grade letter, will get a gift....so you cant say if the father got a good grade letter will he get the gift....First he doesnt have to get a good grade,, second he will not get a gift becuase he is the one who got,,,
1God doesnt have to die cause he saved us , by sending his only son
2he is the one that made the heaven for us

Is God alive? Was he ever? Nope, Jesus was, and he went to heaven, so theoretically, the answer is yes.

If you're talking about God, he does not die.

If you're talking about Jesus (who is God's son), then he already rose and he is in heaven.
