Most of us would rather pass it off than create a scene by informing the person that they're not funny. However, three or more bad or lame jokes in a row warrants negative feedback.

i don't do that...but if a joke is really funny...i'll laugh until i snort, then i laugh because i snorted..it's a vicous cycle.
