There is nothing wrong with dating someone that is older than you. More and more age gap relationships are happening (usually the guy is older). But I do have a friend at the university who just married a lady 14 years older than him and they are very happy together. So if you really like her then go for it

I'm not sure about character and caring, but there are certain advantages for the guy in this sort of relationship. The "newness" of being able to make guys spend money on us has worn off; we no longer empty you wallet "just because we can". We don't say "OMG, I think I'm pregnant!" every 27 days. We don't want to have a baby together. We don't expect you to have dinner with OUR parents very often. We aren't intimidated by YOUR parents. We have our own apartment and car.

I never understood why a guy who is 20-25 (around those ages) has this crazy fantasy about older women. What is it about a chick that is 30-40 that makes a guy think they are soooo much more experience in certain things? I would like to know if it is some weird Freud thing where he secretly wants to ____ his mama or what... I dunno I am very very very curious to know what the deal is.

define "older". and there is no difference between a Young woman or an old woman except character of a person. character does not come with age.

Women who are older and have families and naturally more caring than others. Men who are older and have families are more caring than single men who have had only themselves to worry about. Think about it.
In any case, we women get better with age, anyone knows that!

It your choice baby, everyone is different, if that's your preference then go for it. But I think you are looking for a mother figure than a girlfriend, so just be sure of what you want.
Women closer to your age can be caring too....they just won't take your bullshit!

Maybe your only experiece with younger women are those who aren't mature or caring enough for you. Or you just may enjoy dating older women. However, there are younger women out there who are very mature for their age, you just haven't met them.
