I had one on my desktop at work that would check up to 4 email accounts. It was freeware that I downloaded. It would let you know how many emails you had and display that information in the tray at the bottom of the screen. Since a recent upgrade on my PC I lost that program and I have not been able to find it again. Thanks in advance...

I also use Outlook Express.

I find all Microsoft Outlooks so very complicated and so so many cofigs, prefs, options, settings. It's so frustrating for just one account, I'll let someone else waste their day downloading messages on Outlook.

Outlook Express is quick, small, and easy.
