For biginners its definetly Missionary Position. In this position guy is on top of the girl. This is the best way to have deeper penetration and guy has the control of the game. U can also have great eye contact. Dont be too adventrous in the beginning of sex otherwise your partner will think that u gone crazy. First learn to enjoy then experiment. Have Fun.

It doesn't really matter as long as you both feel great and satisfied you can get better penitration with the one leg up male behind female and the one leg up on female but its all just trial and error and they all should be tried just for the fun of it hoping that you are both of age to be doing this remember to always practice safe sex too ! or get a book on Kama Sutra
