What are pros and cons of such an arrangement?

I've spoken to several people who have used swap a lease, all of them happy. The pros: you can get a nice car for the remainder of the lease without a downpayment, and sometimes you get an incentive from the seller. The cons: Be careful of cars that had bodywork, it would be in your best interest to have the car checked out. You are now responsible for anything done to the vehicle over the entire lease term, even when you didn't have it.

I have and it was the biggest mistake I ever made thinking it was a good thing to becoming taken for a ride. Leasing is only a good thing if you are in a fleet situation

It's not possible. Virtually all leases are not assignable. Same thing goes for car loans.

yes you can. go to the website www.swapalease.com, you can swap, assign or sel your lease contract. they will list it and find a qualified buyer. hope this helps
