Im talking to this guy and I know his ex. She recently found out that we are dating and is mad as hell. She is telling everyone not to talk to us. She even called his mother to tell her what he did. This is getting out of hand cause now I have lost most of the friends I had before because of my new relationship. We dont feel bad for dating each other because we love each other but I have to see these people everyday since we go to school together. Im in college and I thought everyone would be mature about it and happy for us but that is not the case. What should I do now?

What did his mother do to you? I mean, come on. What kind of friends ditch you after your guy's ex told them not to talk to you? Drop those 'friends' that you had. You are dating a guy who is single. She's his EX, remind her that.
You're not doing anything wrong. Your college mates are just babies, so ignore them and find some other mature friends to hang out with.
After all, your bf and you love each other and you're not doing anything wrong - who cares what the others think? You're not dating your bf to make them happy. You seriously don't have to care about them. Better friends will come along.

Girl I know exactly how you feel but that is life the worl is full of dumb azz people. You live your life for you and follow your heart you can't let everthing come between your happiness. this is when you should stand strong you and your man. this will only bring you closer. don't worry about what people say or think just be happy. troubles don't last always. the girl is JEALOUS so don't make her happy and leave your man.

you shouldn't care what some bitter girl thinks.
They weren't your friends if they're playing games like this. Make new ones. There must be tons of people you don't know on your campus.

well it means those people you were calling "friends" are not what u think they are. so don't worry much, enjoy what u got and make the best of it. Real friends don't let you down, it's just people you know of who just come and go and this happen to be the case right now.

Well, if they were your TRUE friends, they would still be, but it looks to me that they weren't really your true friends....go out and find some new ones!! Make new friends, but ditch the old! They should have been happy for you if they were friends, and relationships these days are a pain, but if you love him, then you have to move past your old friends.

As long as you are happy then you don't need them.. They will get over it in the long run.. If not they are the ones loosing out..
