Cheddar Cheese put on top of a baked potatoe which has been seasoned with salt then put under the grill to melt, Add onion or chives for extra taste,
Ham and pineapple is also yummy

if eating potato as main dish bake it for awhile then hollow out most of the potato from the middle,put the potato in a bowl.mix with butter,salt,pepper,grated cheese,onion,bacon bits or ham,stuff the mixture back into potato skin,top with a little more grated cheese,then put back in oven until cheese on top has melted.
best baked potato ever,great on its own or can be served with vitually anything and obviously you can vary the ingredients,for example tofu or tuna for any veggie friends.
sour cream on top is good as well.
alternatively take out centre and mash the potato and make into mash balls,bake in the oven and garnish them with cheese and chilli sauce.
place empty potato skins back in oven until crispy,then fill with bacon bits,grated cheese,,jalepeno peppers and serve with a big dollop of quacamole on top. along with the chilli and mash balls makes a great starter or great snack while watching the football!

I love chilli and cheese, or curry, or tuna an sweetcorn, or beans with cheese.
I just love everthing on a baked potato can't decide whats best.

baked potato with cheese, sauteed mushrooms, ham, butter and sour cream. Baked potatoes are best with a nice BBQ'ed steak!!

On the bakes potato itself...... sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and bacon bits.
