Right or Wrong? For those of you who think its wrong, would you still consider it wrong if a woman became pregnant as a result of rape..?

Wrong - period it's murder. Even in cases of rape... the woman can always put the child up for adoption... there are many many childless couples out there who are so desperate to adopt a baby. To take a life, especially one that can't defend itself... simply wrong.

I think if a woman became pregnant from rape, she can have an abortion. I also think she can have an abortion if she doesn't want the baby. However, I am not for abortion as a means of birth control. A woman should make every effort to be responsible and use a good method of birth control.

My wife (at the time she was just my girlfriend) and I had to choose if we wanted to have an abortion when she got pregnant in High school.
We agreed that it's good that abortion is allowed legally in our country. We don't feel that it's ok for the government to get involved in healthcare or medical decisions of the people. However we both agreed that it's not for us. I would always regret having an abortion. We have a beautiful girl now because we decided to keep and and "do the right ting". We love her so much.
But each person needs to think about this issue for themselves. Don't listen to your parents with this, don't listen to preachers or the news, just listen to your heart. Can you live with yourself if you have an abortion? Can you handle having a child? Can you provide for a child?

I think a woman's choice is a woman's choice. For those who say if you consent and get pregnant, no abortion......that's crap. Things happen. For those who say there are many childless couples who need children, no abortion give them up for adoption....which planet do you live on? A child is very fortunate to get picked from an adoption agency. Most kids spend their lives getting bounced around from foster home to foster home with risks of being abused and more before even getting adopted. Some never get adopted. You have to consider what's best for this "unplanned child". Sometimes you can win for losing.

I think abortion is wrong. While I understand and support a woman who wants an abbortion following a rape, I support her decision, but I still find the act to be wrong. But, I personally feel it's up to everyone to make this decision for themselfs, so I am pro-chioce. It's not my place to enact my morality on anyone elses lifestyle. I guess I'm not such a good republican. I also don't care about gay marraige.

I believe that it should depend on the situation...If a woman is raped, the by all means yes they should be able to have that option available. But if a woman is being promiscious and not protecting herself then, no I believe that it is their problem, but on the other hand, if they don't have the means to take care of their baby, adoption should be their alternative, not to kill an unborn child. it isn't their fault that the mother was either promicious or had an affair...it's a thin line. It's pretty hard for me to say though.

I think it's wrong and if I were to be raped and couldn't fathom the fact that my baby was conceived through a senseless act of violence then I would consider adoption (outside or inside my family), seeing a counselor to cope and first of all pray to God for the strength to deal, but abortion Never!

Abortion is murder... That's all there is to it.
As far as pregnancy from rape goes,
I think rape is horrible and I feel for anyone who has experienced something so awful.
But...
Why should an innocent child be killed for someone else's crime?
The mother could put the child up for adoption, so the baby could have a chance to live.

Rape or no rape I still think that abortion is wrong. I think you should give a child a chance to live life. What if you were pergant with a child that could change the world. We would never know if you killed it.
