I am 18 years old and i have had some interest from guys who are from 23 to 35 but i'm not sure if it would be a good idea dating someone who is older

Look - you can get some good advice and bad advice here but you must make up your own mind. Your 18 years old which in todays standard is an adult. yes a young adult but an adult all the same.
You have been told over and over again do this or don't do that.
I have nothing to lose or gain by giving you my 3.5 cents worth but I can say I am an older male and yes most likely I could say just what you want to hear I could most likely con my way through many young females hearts with words. BUT and a big but that is not me - and listen that isn't as many as people will make you to believe. Keep in mind that there are good and bad people of all ages I know of a few famous young guys who have not been so nice to women. Just because an older man is involved does not mean he is out to hurt you. We have hearts that can be just as broken as a young man. we suffer and bleed like everyone else. if you choose to listen to people who say stay away from older men they are all pervs and are out to hurt you then think about it. we are humans and those things hurt when people say them. just because we are older does not mean we can't be hurt.
Follow your heart ---- your an adult now age just does not matter. If your heart tells you it is right then go with it. yes be careful but I do not say this because of an age thing be careful no matter who you are with.

Listen at your age you should not drift beyond the age of 21. You are way to young to venture further. These older guys are more experiences and will take advantage of you. Be aware of what you are doing.
You are attracted to older guys because they know how to treat a woman the lyrics, the moves, they know how to charm you with the right words and everything.
You are way to young for all of this take you time learn the ropes then decide what is right for you and not what you may feel is right for you.

Im 33 and my boyfriend is 43. I have dated a few men and he is the best..but I would not say it is particulary because of his age. I also dated someone who was 45 and he was the worst boyfriend ever! I think it is not so much the age but more what qualities the person has.

Hi! If you are a virgin, please, don't date with a much more older person.... I'm saying this for many reasons. I think, you should date (if you are a virgin) with guys to 25. If you are not a virgin, you should check out if the man you are interested in is capable of making you smiling and having a good time with him! Don't choose somebody who obviously can't make you smile!

there's nothin wrong wit datin an older guy... im 15 and i go wit a 19 year old and ive dated a 23 year old also, juz as long as the both of yall are happy

I'm 22 my boyfriend is 28, the age makes no difference apart from he treats me the best i have ever been treated, may be his age or may just be because he is a lovely person. Give it ago it's not as if you are going to commit to spending the rest of your life with him straight away!

I'm 42 and i would be very happy for you if you went out with me!!! I'm really fit, good looking and possess a wealth of experience. But that's my opinion (and I'm rarely wrong!!) LOL!!

why not? my dad is 25 years older than my mum and they been together over 22 years. their very happy and in love still
