I'd say that the good Christian answer would be to say that it is not for people to judge who goes to hell.
Catholics, in Vatican 2, according to their doctrine say that people who live according to good spiritual principles may go to heaven.
Personally, I believe Hell is a state of mind; a self-induced separation from that Higher Power which is the only source of a stable sense of happiness.

Muslims have some pretty sick ideas about who goes to heaven or hell! Seventy two virgins for MURDERING INNOCENT people?
Death to non-muslims?
At least Christianity OUTGREW such behavior almost a thousand years ago. The Crusades found many Christians behaving like many Muslims of today.
The other Eastern religions do not have such concrete notions of heaven and hell like the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions.
As to who goes to heaven and who goes to hell, well......
My Christianity is pretty gentle and I think far more people will end up in heaven than many of the EXTREME fundamentalist Protestant preachers would have you believe.
And many of the loaded questions regarding Christianity are aimed at the extreme views of the Fundamentalist Evangelical Protestants.
Here in the USA, there are so MANY different forms of Christianity, you really need to address a specific branch when asking such a loaded question. Are you asking a Mainstream Protestant? A Fundamentalist Protestant (many choices there)? A Quaker? An Amish? A Mennonite? An Episcopalian? A Roman Catholic? A Greek or Eastern Orthodox Christian?
So be specific. To which branch of Christianity are you addressing your question?
There have been way too many snide, acusatory, loaded questions in the religion section here in Answers where it seems like the person doing the asking is really not looking for information, but promoting his/her own opinion.

It is a question you have asked to those whose forefathers are rotting in the graveyards which is a long way even to the hell and is far away from the Earth. How can they know the address of Heaven that is the destination of Muslims and others. A Hindu never thinks in terms of Hell and Heaven beyond this Earth. It is the mind that creates a Hell or Heaven during this life itself. They talk of Mokhsya or Nirvana i.e. liberation from the cycle of birth and decay towards immortality i.e. Godhead itself.

If it weren't for Jews there'd be no Jesus. Satan is a persian God.
Even the bible isn't theirs. The "Bible" storys are from the old testament, that belong to the Jews. Not the christians.
Anyway, I love a good religious debate. I believe in Freedom of Speech.
So no you won't go to hell if you are not, Christian.

no. I am a person of many religions. God does not care what religion you claim to be or what school you went to or if you had a lot of friends. God won't ask how many people were kind to you, he will ask how many people you were kind to.as long as you are a good person you won't go to hell if there be such a place.

Actually all the religious fanatics will burn in hell. Regardless of what religion.
Too bad there's no such thing as hell and this isn't true. No group of people deserve hell more. (Except for politicians and all other fascists.)

I believe the definition of hell is to be denied everlasting life with God. I think if people of any beliefs are true to their faith, they can know God when they die. I think only those who reject God in life will be denied knowing God when they die.
All faiths follow the same basic tenet of do unto others etc. I think that is what matters

As a Christian, I am told to not place judgement. That's God's job, not mine. I don't know who's going where. I am just trying to make sure that I know where I am going. And if anyone else wants to go, I want to help them as well.
