Your name is beautiful and unique. I hope that you love it. It reminds me of the name Juliet, which is also a beautiful name. I used to think that my name was different and weird, but now I love it. My name is Lara, pronounced like Lara Croft tomb raider. But a lot of people mispronounce it. They mostly call me Laura or they call me Laira, like Larry with an A at the end of it instead of a Y. I like your name. It could be much worse! You could go by Ell if you hate your name, or Elli. But I think you should just be called Elliet.

No, I've never come across the name before. It's sweet - means (to me) 'little Ellie'. I hope that you are proud of it, even though you have to spell it to people (and, no doubt, they still get it wrong!).
My grand daughter (aged 8) is called Taranne. I think that my daughter and her (then) partner were thinking of the name 'Terran', which is normally a boy's name, so between us we came up with a girly looking version of it. A lot of people get the pronunciation wrong (TAR-anne when it should be ter-ANNE) and people usually ask 'How do you spell that?' but we stick with it! Incidentally 'Terran' means 'of the earth' but 'Taran' was a Celtic thunder god (must have been a close cousin of Thor!).
Cavichin's friend's grandmother's name, Merle, is another good name which means 'blackbird' in French. It's been used as both a boy's name and a girl's name but I encountered it first in Merle Watson (son of the blind guitarist, Doc Watson) and then in Merle Haggard (a country singer I am quite fond of), so I tend to think of it as a boy's name. I think, if I were naming a son, I would not choose Merle but I might well do for a daughter. Likewise, given a name 'Elliet', it would be 'girl' rather than 'boy' (Elliot would be a boy's name).
To your additional information: In France it would be pronounced 'el-i-yay'. If you wanted it pronounced with the the 't' at the end, it would have to be spelled 'Elliette' (and even that wouldn't sound quite the same). It looks French, I would say, but isn't.
I expect that you have typed 'elliet' into Google - if you haven't, then are there people who don't do things like that?? Either you are the artist who seems to feature largely in the top entries (on Deviantart, for example), or there are others - as answers here have proved!

That's pretty. I've never heard of a woman being named that, but I'm going to put it on the list of baby names for my soon-to-be.
