What do you do when your father takes 'fatherly love' a little to far. I was so embarassed after it happened. Should i tell someone or keep it to myself?

Is that true..? If so it's normal to be troubled but the person who must be emberassed and asked is the father figure..Tell your mother,your relatives,closest friends as soon as possible..Never keep such disturbing your inner self things for yourself..OK?? Luck!

Are we talking about sharing dirty magazines or actual physical stepping out of bounds? If he is just trying to show you "manhood" in order to help you understand some things then he just needs some parental guidance. If this is abuse and you don't report it...I'm wondering who else he has hurt. This does not need to go another day without telling someone. Your mother/mother figure may be in denial...but keep talking! Eventually, someone will listen. If there are no family members then you can call social services in your county/city (remain anonymous) and tell them the situation. They'll check it out for you maybe saving any more embarrassment on your part. I wish you all the luck and a peaceful resolution.

Yes, if it has made you this uncomfortable and embarrassed. You should clear your feelings on the whole event. Especially if it was sexual in anyway. That's wrong, very wrong. Tell someone, and keep telling till you get the resolution you need.

You should tell someone fast.I mean what if he did it to someome else or what if he does it to you again? If IT IS sexual abuse then tell becuz it can mess you up if you keep it all bottled in.

Don't keep it pent up inside. Talk to someone, tell them about it. It'll do you a world of good.
A counsellor, friend, spiritual leader... just talk to someone.
