Indeed it can, with limited functionality. You will need the ability to boot from a flash drive, Bart PE Builder (freeware) and you will be able to install Windows XP on the flash drive along with other software, if you have space. I did read somewhere that there are a new brand of flash drives which will allow for operating system to be installed on... I think it was like a university project or something, basically to allow to students to carry their work without having to worry about what programs are installed etc. as they would all be on the usb flash
sticks!

I'll have to search for the source though.
