America was founded by Christian values and principles. In the last 46 years or so, the bleeding heart liberals , the ACLU and atheists have chipped away at the Christian influence and tried to outlaw God in as many avenues as possible, and are not finished. Thank God there are a lot of Christians left and we are still a blessed nation, but God will judge and punish.

America is not a Christian nation... it is a nation of mostly Christians. The difference is that one places the religion before the constitution and the latter puts the constitution before religion.

It was founded on Christian values, and teachings, we got our laws from the Bible. Now it is hard to say, we are drifting so far away.
Now that we have done so look at the moral demeanor of our country, teens murder, drug use, pregnancy, up incredibly high. No pride in country no respect for anything.
This generation is loosing all we once stood for, because we lost our foundation of who we were and what brought us to be such a great nation Christian values, love, family and community. Let's remember our past to save our future.... Messenger

No. It is not a christian Nation. And the "under God" given in the pledge of alliegiance was added in 1954... Something called McArthyism... the man who thought Communists were everywhere and that all Communists were Atheists (somehow I don't see much of a change in that line of thinking)

If it were, a good part of the population would probably decide to move elsewhere.
While there is a religious majority of Christians in the U.S., there is an on-going attempt to leave it at that and not let it expand into the government, although it has managed to weasle its way in at different levels, such as "under God," "in God we trust," etc.

Yes, we are ONE NATION UNDER GOD according to our Constitution.
On our money we say IN GOD WE TRUST
The basic premise of our laws, our Constitution, was written and signed by Christian men.
Our war for freedom, to gain statehood, was fought and won by Christian men.
The vast majority of Senators and Congressmen, and ALL of our Presidents, have claimed Christianity as their faith.
so umm, yeah, America is a Christian nation.

Not in the least.
If it were the constitution would hold God as the highest value, not the individual.
Lets hope that never changes.
The leaders use Christianity pro or con as tool to get votes, maintain power etc.
