Why can't America mend their own business?

Question

America has always been in wars which never or mostly where not their own like:
The War of 1812; Mexican-American War; The Civil War; The Spanish-American War; World War I & II; The Korean War; Vietnam War; Desert Storm; and many more,
Even created Osama Bin Laden...and I hold them responsible for creating a man who eventually has taken to bombing America...
Well it is known fact that America has not sufficent proof to hold him responsible for 9/11 attack....and bombing Afganistan to fight terror...who gave them the right.....and where is osama even after all these years and now Iraq...What do they want...They are the one who have misrepresented the Islam and fanned the hatred against them..

I think its a left over from the Puritans that founded our country as they did not mind their own business. I agree with you that our foreign policy has always been less than ideal. I guess we want to remain the top dog and for some reason feel we can only be if we fix other nations to our liking.

Most of the wars you listed were ours... Mexican AMERICAN war... Civil War in America was between Americans... Spanish AMERICAN War... WW2 we were attacked by the Japanese... As for the others, strange how we get nailed with how terrible we are in those wars, yet it was those people who asked us to be IN those wars.
Osama did not Bomb us. Osama convinced other people to steal planes and fly them into some of our buildings. Yes, we did go over there and we taught him and his group how to fight, use our weapons which we gave him and his group... at their request.... when Russia was attacking Afghanistan...

But I suppose all that stuff is alright so long as nothing bad happens. But as soon as something bad happens, we are those "terrible Americans"?

And Everyone's religion has been misrepresented in one form or another. It's an absolute fact that the Fanatics are louder than the rest of the group and all the rest of us look at the loud Fanatics and think "what in the world are you on?"

It is America's business because we are no longer a country by ourselves but a member of the global community. Whatever is done in another country will have an effect on America...ie...Iran and neuclear bombs, etc. In order to protect our freedom, we need to be involved and aware of all that is going on in our global home. We cannot hide here in our little section of the world with our eyes and minds closed. America needs to stand up to the bullies of the world and defend the rights to freedom and dignity of all people.

Actually all countries have been in wars and many not being 'their own', in fact the Arab countries have been at war for centuries. As for America minding their own business...well several of the wars were fought on American soil, the others were when we were attacked or our allies (you know the whole you're my friend or a smaller country asking for help so we committed to help protect you against bully countries) How you can blame America for 'creating' bin Laden is a mystery to me, what creates terrorists and bullies like bin Laden and Hussein is their perversion of the Islam religion and the same goes for anyone else who perverts the tenants of a basically non-violent religion. America did not attack Iraq for no reason, they brought that fight to our doorstep even earlier and then again on 9/11. Many believe Hussein and bin Laden were not in on that attack but experts and those who actually do a little research know that bin Laden and Hussein and their ilk have been helping each other for decades. Even months before the 9/11 attack several of bin Laden's 'security staff' met with Husseins....yeah they just had a little tea and crumpets....Bottom line, whether if its America or anyone else helping if democracy takes hold in the Arab countries women and females will finally be valued more than chattel and not be afraid they will be scooped up off the streets for the pleasure of animals like Husseins sons, men will finally be able to speak freely, provide for their families and worship the religion of Islam as its supposed to be not some lunatics idea of how they want it. America and its citizens are not the 'bad people' the few here portray it to be, unfortunately we have those amongst us that also have a perverted view of our country and are seeking to discredit the good and compassionate people.
One thing for sure no one every wants to have war, no one except for the tyrants anyway, but in saying that you yourself know that if you do not stand up to bullys they will be back to make your life miserable....Hussein is a bully no more, Zarqawi is a bully no more and I can tell you with great confidence bin Laden is soon to be no more. Now ask those citizens of Iraq how their lives were when Hussein was in power, killing hundreds a week just on his own insane whims vs now, when they can walk the streets fairly safe except again of course from radical Islamists...America cannot continue nor does it want to continue to stay in Iraq...what we want is for Iraq and its people to stand up for themselves. Now if you are not willing to look at America and its people with an open and non-judgemental mind you will not listen to any of this and you will continue to believe the lies, propoganda and rantings of people whose only goal is to control the world.

US government is an arrogant disgustingly sleazy thing but it's powerful so it does what it wants. Yes I agree they created Osama and 911 but you have to give them credit for this brilliant idea. I respect them for being soooo smart (NOT Bush the "missing link fossil" of course but those other guys).
