No, because you might not be with your lover for the rest of your life, you never know! If i did get my lovers name tatood on my body, then I would make sure that it could be covered up, should any thing happen where we decided not to be together.

Don't do it, your body is your own and no one will ever own you, one day you may not be with him and might have broken up with him over something stupid that he did to you and the damn tattoo will keep reminding you of him,

my lover asked, and I did..we broke up)after a 5yr.relantionship)weeks later..never ever again! The sad part is that the tatttoo is right above my private area..

If you are in a relationship, and both like tattoos, then why not get him to get a tat that he likes, but not with your name, then you get a tat that copies part of his tat, then they mean alot to you while your still together, but if things go sour, it's just a tat to someone else.

NOPE!.....it seems to be a proven fact that as soon as u do...the relationship ends...then what.....u have ur EX's name on u forever.....or one u have to cover up....not good...I have a tat...it is a closed bud rose...with banners across the stem...in the banners I have my childrens names.....in the petals of the rose..I have my initials, as well as, my EX Husbands.....the only reason he was put on there is because he is the Father of my kids....other then that.....no...I would not.....

After my bf passed away in memory, i have a tattoo of his intials in his hometown flag and i don't regret it at all....
