No one here on Earth can judge you or give you a good answer to that question. It's between you & your God.

Obviously if you believe in Hell, you must come from some faith background. I would agree with other answers that none of us are worthy to judge. That said, correcting your wrong is an advisable way to make it right with your conscience and your God. The method depends on your faith. I'm a Roman Catholic, so the Sacrament of Reconciliation in conjunction with seeking forgiveness of those you've harmed is the way to go. That's just as an example. Some faiths tell you that especially grievous sins could prevent you from going to heaven or whatever else you might call your desired afterlife.

There is ONLY one way to get into Heaven: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
There is no "But" after that statement. Believe. Hell is not some "place" that was created to dump people in because they have sinned or done "bad stuff". Hell is there for people who have rejected the truth and chose not to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Hell is total separation for God for eternity. Total separation. Pretty simple. Don't try to make it any more complicated.

The heaven and hell is here in this life only. A person who is good 2 everyone else never suffers. Bad stuff done to self shows weak mind. The hell is what he suffers himself due to bad stuff. Nobody I mean NOBODY can make you suffer unless you YOURSELF want to. SO making heaven is in our hand and hell too.

We don't even know for sure if there is such a rem as hell. Hell may just be an "invention" to scare christian people into behaving themselves. Imagine what the world would be like if there was no thought of hell. As for your friend, I absolutely feel he won't go to any hell if he's done good with his life towards others.

I hope that you received and were comforted by what rachellynn200, margie38us j, beekiss, PCMan, oldguy63, GuiltyAngelz and Vicki all had to say, because for the most part, they got it right. Our good deeds do count, but they won't save us. There is good news! Salvation is a free gift. It's yours for the asking. The Creator of the universe has promised this to you, and one of the things that He can't do, is to lie. I invite you to sincerely pray the following, and sometime afterward, tell someone that you know that you can trust, that loves you UNCONDITIONALLY. I will pray for you as well. Here it is: "Father God in heaven, it's written in Your Word that if I confess, (say with my mouth), that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that You have raised HIm from the dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father God in heaven, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce, or turn from, my past life under the influence of Satan, and close the door to any of his deceptions. (This simply means that we've ALL sinned; I'm not calling you a "bad" person.) I thank you for forgiving me of ALL my sin. Jesus is my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away, and now all things become wonderfully new in Jesus' name. Amen." CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the family!

Being good is not what gets you into heaven, lots of good people go to hell. Cuz everyone is not perfect and has a sinful nature but if you accept (and believe in your heart) the sacrifice that Jesus did for you (He paid for your sins by being crucified) and confess with your mouth thet "Jesus is Lord", then let His Holy Spirit into your heart, you will go to heaven. Read "The Book", start with the New Testament chapter called "the Gospel of John"....
see you in heaven?

The scriptures say
"All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God." and
"All our righteousness are like filthy rags" before God.
"There is no one doing good, not even one"
It is good if a person adopts a life doing good to every one. But as you say "done some bad stuff within himself" - There is hope for such a person. All he has to do is cast his burden before God in prayer - who is loving God, slow to anger, gracious and kind and abundantly pardons errors.
"hell" in other words - eternal death - is for those who are UNREPENTENT and blasphemers.

i don't believe in a hell so I would say no. but since this is a spiritual question no one can tell you the answer as if it is a fact, they can only tell you what they believe and why. The important thing here is to ask yourself what you think will happen to that person and why.

The bad stuff we do is what puts us in hell, and unless someone confesses Christ as Lord and believes in his heart that God has raised him from the dead he will not go to heaven.
