I've been baptised for eight years. I used to be a catholic.I am so thankful to Jehovah for drawing me (John.6:44)Unfortunately as you can see by some of the responses,we are not particularly popular even on this web site.Unfortunately too,is the fact that so many are misinformed or have some twisted story to tell.
Anyway,I like this site because it gives me a another avenue to witness through.I scroll through the questions and answer ones that appeal to me or that seem genuinely searching for a answer to some biblical question.Of course I use the publications to answer any questions that I respond to.
There are other witnesses that respond to questions on this site.It's always heartwarming to read a response by a brother or sister.The unity in our beliefs is so warming and unifying.I'm in Australia and I guess most on this site are American?So to me its just nice that there are others who are prepared to stick up for Jehovah and the Truth.

I am acquainted with Jehovah's Witnesses. Good people, and they have a vast knowledge of the bible.
Sorry about some of the other answers, people fear what they do not understand.

I doubt it very much. Arent yous all suppose to be heavenly and the rest of the world evil because we are not Jehovahs???
What would yous want with any of us evil folk on this site?

i was in a shelter for abuse , in Ontario . and i met a girl who was trying to get away from the Jehovah's , because she took her baby with her they were following her and she said they were threatening her as well.this girl was a nervous wreck .
why would a religious group do this ? i have seen her and the damage its done with my own eyes . i am not into any religion at all and its partly because of that experience.

I am a witness and have been since 1975. ---So many people are misinformed about us--- Jesus was the greatest man that ever lived and now he is our reigning King in heaven---so yes,we do believe in Jesus.

I am and very proud of it. I don't what to sound ugly, but some of these other answers are so ignorant.
