I became interested in flying at 12. I have several suggestions to get you started. Go to a flying school at your local airport. Tell them you want to begin the study for a private pilot license. They will show you what you need to start with. You can begin lessons with a certified instructor anytime that you can afford it. Get your parents to buy you a check ride or test flight. I have seen deals for $25.00 for half an hour. Start studying math and science at school. Aeronautics is just a combination of math skills and physical sciences like geology and meteorology. Save up your money and take lessons when you can. Most pilots earn their private license in 40-60 hours of time. When you graduate from high school, you can either join the Army and apply for the Helicopter Pilot program or go to an Aeronautical Institute and go for your commercial license. Good Luck!
