i work in an office type setting, with 10 other ppl, with 2 on at all times, in a rotating schedule, i want to have a very steamy relationship with one of my male coworkers, but is it wise to try to persue this, when it could jepordize my work? i love my work by the way.
we are both single and somewhat very flirty.
or should i look for fun somewhere else?
what if it were a real relationship with dates and stuff, and sex came later?

My recommendation would be to first make sure the company does not have a specific written policy that prohibits office relationships. Do this one you own and don't talk to anyone elso about it. Second, try to keep it quiet and under wraps, even if it is not prohibited. That is your private life and is better kept out of the work place. You can talk and chat and be friends at work, but wait until you leave to have you private moments. Also, keep in mind that you have to be adult about the relationship if it goes sour later. You have to continue to be professional at work even if things don't work out. I've been there and done that and now I am married to the same guys. This is how we started out and it worked out for us in the end. Good luck!!!

In my opinion it is not wise to start a relationship with a coe worker. It could blow up in your face and come to bite you in the butt if it dosent work out. If you value your job and don't want your personal business spread all over work look some where else.

In addition to trouble you might cause yourself, there are sometimes unwritten rules against it. Try developing a friendship with this guy first. If you cannot develop a good friendship in other areas, there is no point in getting steamy. And if you can, this will give you a lead on how to go next.

I've tried this just recently and please be careful. Whenever it's a working relationship you must consider what you would feel like if you broke it off. How would you work together again and feel at ease with one another?. It's very hard but keep the worker at bay. Don't confuse love or lust in your job, it can be devastating. Trust me!.

Been there. Never again. She told my co-workers every detail. And told my boss (a lady) every detail.
And when she found out I was dating someone else, she proceeded to contact her and tell her what we did, and that we got together every night after work, which broke that relationship up. Then I had to see her everyday at work. No, never again.

As long as you keep work , work and dating out side the job, don't try the kissy, eye batting, fondling, or even sex at work, keep the 2 separate, its OK to eat lunch together, but keep everything else out of the work place.. or it will start interfering with work and be a source of office gossip. and start affecting your work performamce.

Office romances are bad news, one of you will get fired when the boss finds out. You seem to like your job, so .... stay away from the guy, however its OK to be friends.

Not a good idea since you work at the same place. what happens if it all goes sour? the you will resent going to work etc etc and it will make for a unhealthy work place.
