u may have something so much interesting in it and may be something which have been a fancy for you in ur childhood..if u really want to quit from that strong addiction, try to remember some incidents which have strongly affected pple dur to this addiction or something which u feel is so bad that your mind can't accept it.To say as an example,i remember one of my friends who had such a fancy for mobiles that she couldnt live without..she spend about rs.10000 pm for the maintenence of her 3 mobiles and the bills she had to pay for the maintenance, accessories and the calls she made. One day, after paying these bills, she was coming out of the shop.....A girl of 15 or 16 came to her weeping that her mother was in bed and she had not had food for 5 days.My frind felt so embarraced that she had spent about 9000 rs at the shop for her silly fancy and there are pple beside her without even the money for daily basic needs. She helped the girl..yet...she couldnt further spend so much money for those fancies..Whenever she had that interest, the face of that girl came to her mind.Similarly,i hope u can try some of these or if u have not had any such experiences, look around..u can see many...u will not have that fancy again.....sure!+BEST WISHES!

My first question is, can you afford to keep upgrading to a new phone? Because, if you cant, and you have to resort to your savings for college, or stealing from your parents or smt, then thats bad. Even if you can afford it, and im guessing you can, you've already said that your addicted. Addiction is such that rationality gets thrown out of the window, and it could be such that you start to harbour an unnatural desire to get a new phone even though yours is barely a few months old.. is it so? then it may be time to evaluate your behaviour. it may be that you're not addicted to the phones per se, but you may like the attention that others bestow upon you and your phone...or you may like feeling superior to others because you have the latest phone. it may be that you feel inadequate in other respects, such that this is the only avenue where you can feel confident of yourself? Im just speculating, and im not judging at all, because we all have different ways of dealing with feelings of inadequacy. just think abt it. good luck with your life!

You have an obsessive behaviour. This can sometimes bring havoc to your life but in your case, i think you just like having the newest and best.
If this behaviour spills into other parts of your life, i suggest seeing a counsellor.

no, i think you are not addicted to cellphones but it is what advertisement is doing to you.
They create wants, they convinced you that the newer unit is much better thus you dont stop craving for newer models..
But i think its okay if you can afford to have all the units available in the market..

Because you are a person who is hooked on new technology. Not really the phone itself, but what the new ones can do...
