If so, how do you do this? I have a Finepix Fujifilm camera.

Anybody know if this is at all possible? If so, then please let me know the operations you do to get them onto your camera. E.g File > Saved Images etc. I'll take a look at the website and see if there's anything there as I've had no joy with the built in camera help guide.

Glad to hear that it's possible. We lost our dog a few weeks ago, and want to send the photos from the pc to the camera, so we can take them to one of them machines in town where you can print them off. I've got the data cable plugged in, just don't know where/what menu to go to so I can do the rest

I haven't got a memory card reader, unfortunately. I was hoping that there'd be a way I could do this without. I've tried clicking on the picture then sending it to my camera, however, it moves, but doesn't actually show up when I go to the saved pictures on the camera.

Thanks for all the info everyone, but still haven't got it working. I'm going to give Fujifilm a call and see what they say. Please keep answering if you have any suggestions.

You can purchase a memory card read/writer at any major computer store for about $15 to $20. This will plug into the USB port on your computer, then you plug the card into it (after removing from the camera). It will allow you to either copy or move pictures and other files to the card as if it were an additional drive. It's a good gadget to have with you so you can download pictures onto friends' computers without having to install the software that allows your camera to download onto your computer.

If you have a few specific photos that you want printed out, why not upload them to a website that will print out pictures and mail them to you? The Walmart service even lets you upload pictures and print them out at a local store where you can go pick them up. They do a good job, and are relatively inexpensive. Here are a few:

READ THIS FIRST!!!

Yes it is possible. I work for a professional camera store (world biggest photographic companies in UK). I've been trained by the manufacturer of the cameras.

What happens if a file you are transfering from your computer to the memory card has a virus? If you view such file, you will ruin your camera. Or what happens if while transferring photo to your digital camera while the camera is running on the battery, and the battery runs out while photo is being transferred? You corrupt your memory card. I have seen 100s of cases like that so I wouldn't recommend you doing so.

But if you still want to do so, buy a card reader which you connect to your computer and no need to remove it. Just put your memory card into the card reader and then transfer photos into it from your computer. It's safe.

Yes you can. If you are using XP you will be able to plug in your camera and send photos the same way as a floppy or flash drive. You can use Windows explorer or use the same software that you download from your camera. Just click and drag.. Then you can use the LCD to show the pictures.

You don't need a card reader. You can use the cable hookup.

You can. When you connect your camera to your pc (say using USB cable), your memory card opens in your PC just like a drive. You can copy-paste pictures to that drive (memory card). However, mostly you will not be able to view them through your camera, you can still use your camera as a storage/transfer device this way.

Yes you can, most cameras have a usb port that you could use or you can put the memory card into your computer media drive. Click and move pictures right onto the memory card.
