Maybe you could ask the other party to postpone the fight. But if something as serious as your liver is hurting you, you should really contact your doctor about it. Your fights may be taking more out of you then they should.

If your running out of gas early in fights you need to work on your cardio a hell of a lot more man and its not going to help you much to start now since the fight is in a couple of days. Check with your doctor about the liver thing but as long as your are not pissing blood and the pain is not so severe that just pushing on the spot slightly hurts you should be fine but get it seen by a doctor anyways especially if you are feeling the pain internally. You also need to be more mentally prepaired even thinking you are not ready for a fight can break your confidence.
Go through every move you want to make and every move you think your opponent will make and think of ways to counter it and improve your attack. You need to make a plan and stick with it.

You mean sparring or fighting? In a real fight I would just run away....lol. But if you were sparring, try to pace yourself. I think there are only 2 3-minute for sparring and 3 3-minute for competition sparring. Do not do all the attack at once. Just do a couple of attacks then stop. If the opponent attack you try to block his kicks then counter-attack. If I were you try to make an appointment to check with your doctor on your liver before you sparr. Your health is your happiness. Or maybe you need to take an endurance class to get use to the arts.

I have been in fights too many times and have taught people how to do it but have never heared of pain in the liver due to the stress before fights.
I think your problem id with lack of self confidence, because even the worst fighter should always think of bitting his oponent all the time.
As for running out of gas,you need special breathing exercise for fighting.Consult your trainer for this and your physician for your liver pain.
And good luck with your fight

As a former boxer, i would eat nothing but pasta 2 days before a fight. the day before the fight i would do an easy workout just to work up a sweat and then go into solitary confinement and think about what i had to do. I would go through my stradegy and decide what i would do when met with something unexpected. When fight day came i was all business

I second girth, are you sure it's your liver and not a sidesplint? as you start to get tired are you clenching up and not breathing properly? No offense, but if you are afraid to get hit you might be tightening up and disrupting your breathing, which can lead to side pains. If it really is your liver you should see a DR. otherwise, meditate on the fight, and if your heart tells you not to do it, don't do it!

run everyday and spar with your friends. do it with boxing gloves though, you dont wanna get messed up before the fight. about your liver, get it checked and stop drinking alcohol. if your doctor says youre not in shape to fight, dont do it, its not worth it. and make sure your opponent doesnt find out about your liver, he will attack you there.

Are you sure it's your liver? Try to pace yourself in the beginning if you know you can't knock him out quick. Calm your nerves and keep reassuring yourself throughout the fight. Always listen to your corner!
