Whenever the kitten starts to bite put a toy or string in front of it. It will love playing with it. It eventually will know that that is what it is supposed to bite on.

I know that this sounds obvious, but I pull my hand away and sternly say no. I have a kitten that's about 4 weeks old right now and that has been working really well with him right now. I don't even raise my voice, it's just the tone that I use. He usually will just go for my hand after I pull it away and lick it. He looks up at me like, I just meant to lick you!

stop playing with it, it will come around and play with you, but if you dont pay attention to it when it bites you, then it wil stop because it will want your attention, and if you dont give it any when it bites and give it when its not biting, then he will get the message,
