They're not shy at all - it's all the peer pressure, when you hear friends who aren't virgins talking about it all, you kind of feel left out and so you join in and then you lie, so they don't know you're a virgin (cause they'll laugh!).

As for why people can't wait - that's a completely different story.
We all want to try out something we've never done before, just cause it seems like a good thing - even if it's not the right time for it ..... then after that .... it's just addiction!!!

This is very tough situation for a lot of people and the problem is that most do not wait until the right time to have sex. There will be many who have sex when they are not ready, get married when they are too young and so on and so forth. These are decisions that everyone makes in life wether it's the right or wrong one, thoes do not know at that time. T

They did it because of peer pressures or because that seemed right to do it then , and nobody really thinks of the consquences when they are young and nieve and they believe that it can't happen to them. And thats ok for them to make that decision because that is a part of life weather it is the right or the wrong one.

If you are have that special someone and are able to wait to get married, I'd say go for it. There is nothing wrong with that and do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Follow your heart, but use your brain at the same time. It will guide you to the right spot...

i got a friend he is 26 he has had a girl friend and he refuses to get laid. his sister was 14 when she had her first kid now she is 22 with three kids from two difrent guys that was his influence to remain a virgin. i was 24 when i lost mine i had a the oppertunity more than once when in high school but i just wasent ready. the girl nex to me now is 29 she didnt lose hers till she was 25 or so and is due to get married to a 21 year old guy next feb she took his when he was 20 so some ppl can wait.

Right person my ***! I'm not in favor of sleeping with everyone you meet, but woould you marry someone you dont know if you 'll share a good sexlife with??? It's a great risk? What happens if you marry in your 30s? You're gonna be a virgin THAT long? Thats not physically healthy you know... i agree that the first person ever one sleeps with is very special and very important. But is that person always the right person to marry?
