Go out with him for a dinner and make him feel that there is someone who loves u more than he does. Make him feel that You too Love that person and u r planning to get married. If he really loves u he will himself let u go happily. And if he doesnt then he will react to it.
Or else Talk to him frankly and explain him the reason u wanna split with him in such a logical way that he agrees ur point of view.

dont try the whole its not you its me thing try to explain your self but also make them feel loved try writing it down first and see if it would work for you because if it doesnt then dont use it, just keep writing un till you hit gold if you get what i mean then tell them what you have written or hand it to themwith a little explanation. dont and i mean dont do it public, over the phone or while your on a date trust me that hurts a lot

the truth is you have to be honest and talk to the guy face to face. It can be rally hard to break up with a guy and however tempted you are to break up with a guy thought a text the best way is to tell him straight up.

Talk to him seriously tel him as early as possible cos the longer the time deeper his emotions..be straightforward and accept the fault and blame...not put the blame on him but on you cos he will felt be lighthearted if you accept everything......just tell him It may not work out we try to be friends maybe thats what we intend for...try to understand..
